The Dunedin Writers & Readers Festival returns to Ōtepoti from 6-9 May, bringing a smorgasbord of literary talent from around New Zealand.
Expect events that amuse you, provoke you, make you gasp or laugh or maybe cry a little. Ōtepoti is a UNESCO City of Literature and these four days in May are when we can uninhibitedly revel in the love of reading for its own sake.
Honing in on the significant home-grown talent right here in New Zealand, celebrate the words, stories, ideas, and dreams that form the books we love and that take us inside the very interesting minds of Aotearoa's stellar writers.
Festival guests will serve up fascinating perspectives and insights on a range of topics that will satisfy - and perhaps provoke - readers from all walks of life.
